Green Charette

Having a green charette early in the design process will be the most important improvement you can make to your existing design process. The green charette is designed to bring all of the parties involved in the project together, from the owner to the landscaper and everyone in between. Once assembled, collectively ideas are vetted and goals are set.

This is part of the integrated design process. The architect is no longer just going to determine every aspect of the project. The mechanical engineer will have a voice before he is given the drawings and space and told to make it work. Everyone has ideas and can contribute to the process.

The green charette will help everyone focus on looking at things a little bit differently. Discussing sustainability issues with all of the different disciplines and trades at the beginning of the project will make your green project successful.
